B.  Read the article below.  Create an entry in your journal titled "LinkedIn Analysis" and answer the questions below in the document.

2.  Compare Linked In to three other forms of social media.  How is it different?  How is it similar?
3.  How could the business you are working with benefit from using LinkedIn?  Explain specific ways your business could use LinkedIn.  If you feel the benefit to your business is somewhat limited, explain why.  Due 3/7 end of class

INSTAGRAM
3/8 - 3/9
Create a journal entry titled "INSTAGRAM".  Complete these tasks and record your detailed notes in your journal.
1.  Find an article from a valid source that explains why Instagram is a good social media marketing tool for businesses.  Find out what businesses should use Instagram, how often to post, what kind of posts are most effective, what age groups (target customers) use Instagram.
2.  Read this article on posting multiple images on Instagram.  Take detailed notes.
3.  Would you recommend Instagram for your business?  Why or why not?  Justify your answer.


FACEBOOK VIDEOS
3/9 - 3/10
Create a journal entry titled 'FACEBOOK VIDEOS".  Complete these tasks and record your detailed notes in your journal.
1.  Read this article about using FB Videos to boost your followers.  Make sure you read about Mari, Clark's Eliok Farm, Rescue Chocolate and WV Skydivers.  Take notes!!!
2.  Learn how to use Animoto by going through their free tutorials.  Take notes as if you were going to give the notes to your business.  (So they should be professional, easy to follow, etc.)
3.  Would you recommend using FB Videos to your business?  Why or why not?  Justify your answer.

  2. Create a Social Media Contest/Campaign for your business.  Directions.  Team - due and presentations will be given 4/26/17 in class

This presentation should do TWO things:
1.  Provide a summary (in a bullet point format) 0f EVERYTHING you have done for business to date
(think about branding, etc as well)
and
2.  highlight details of INDIVIDUAL work that has been done for the business in the past three weeks.

Project Description

5/30: Introduction   
5/31: Research HHS Yearbook and Newspaper current status.  Create a google doc in your Social Media folder title it "HHS Yearbook and Newspaper"  Complete the following sections:
I.  Current Status
What social media is used?  How are these publications distributed today?  What is your perception - is this working well or not?
II. Quick Research
Spend 15 minutes researching what do other schools in the area do for social media for their yearbook and newspaper?  Document your results
III.  Proposal
What social media should Yearbook and Newspaper use?  Defend each answer with facts
